Product Description:

Cabos is Gnutella file sharing program based on LimeWire and Acquisition. It is free software, no spyware, no adware. It has simple interface, multi languages support, and iTunes / iPod integration.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed CPU-hog after long term use. Now uses TCP port 1024 for core communication.
  • Fixed crash while closing network connection.
  • Fixed UPnP manager. Now enables UPnP at startup properly.
  • Fixed host browsing. Now uses push proxy and UDP transfer.
  • Fixed some critical issues.

Cabos makes for VERY high use of the CPU. Acqlite, in contrast, though it has other problems of its own, uses very little of the CPU. So while using Cabos, be prepared to have your fans kick in and to experience quite a drag on your system for other running apps.
