It's a great app.

I've been using LogTen Pro for 4 months and think it's a great app. I have not experienced data loss or corruption. Note that the first 40 hours of log entry is free so you can try it out... Be aware that if you enter a flight time, then enter a flight start and end times for the flight it will replace the flight time with one calculated from the actual times entered, makes since, but you need to enter either one method or the other.
I like the customization options for the reports. As a student pilot I have been able to create a custom form that address all the areas needed for the PTS.
Fly safe.

Bugs and bugs and bugs.... - Version: 3.1, 12/26/2006 05:24AM PST

I'm using logten pro since version 2 and I always had problems with it. I updated to version 3 and still a lot of bugs... Mainly random loss of data. The thing is, being a mac user, if you want an "electronic" logbook you don't really have the choice. Then it's up to you. I spent 150 $ (version 2 + update to version 3) for a software that is not really functionnal and such a huge P I T A. If somebody could have told me... :(

If you already have an electronic logbook (from excel sheet to anything you can export to comma-seperated text) you can very easily import it into LogTen.
LogTen is the best logbook program I've seen so far, that's including applications for PC. The price may seem a bit steep but everyone who knows what it's like to maintain a paper logbook knows that it's so much better if you don't have to worry about a cramped hand after 3 months of NOT writing your flights down and making tons and tons of mistakes in calculating your times...
With LogTen Mobile 2.0 for the iPhone coming up things just keep getting better :-)
