I use calc (apcalc in Debian) all the time on my Linux machines. It's great to have such a neat version of it for OS X.

This is a GREAT app.
Some problems with approximation (e.g. power(10,log10(10000000000));999999999.9).
I would love if it saved the functions you define.

Great application; a no brainer way of doing calculations. However, I agree with ylon that a simple click to clear completed tasks would be most useful. Good work!

Although it would be nice if the fractions displayed in a smaller typeface. My 10 year-old was a bit confused by this. Very, very nice idea and implementaion, though. Thanks!

This is a great application.
I have one suggestion/request: I like extended mode, because I like to be able to view and work with more than one calculation at a time. However, when I type return to get a new line, the cursor jumps back up to the end of the previous line. Please fix this problem!
Another suggestion would be to have a palette that lists all of the functions with a keyword filter text field at the top. Clicking a function in the list would display the documentation for that function (in a separate pane, perhaps).

Excellent work Scott. Superb job. He is very responsive and is building a great application. I've replaced Calculator.app a while back and now I'm starting to see much more benefit with this release (such additions as ESC clearing the input and so forth).
