have tried all the major news readers and I think Strider is one of .. if not the best one. A couple of ideas for enhancements.
1. An option to make the default "detail view" HTML. Currently you have to go into each bookmark and adjust. I prefer the opening of the URL in Strdker browser.
2. An option to "clear" all headlines in a specific bookmark
3. An option to clear all headlines in all bookmarks.
4. An option to create "filters" or "smart-folders" by automatically scanning the headline for key words.

Clicking the dock icon should logically open a new reader window if no window is open. It doesn't do anything. Likewise, opening a new window should be possible by using command + n. Instead you use command + o which should arguably be used to either open a particular article in a new browser or open a list of bookmarks. Additionally, there is no logical hotkey for toggling detail view.
Functionally, it's excellent--it handles feeds well, the in-app article browsing works perfectly, and it's seach capabilities are reasonable. The Growl notifier support is good as well.
