Product Description:

Hold On does one thing: It picks up and hangs up the phone line. The interfaces is a simple small window with a toggle button. That's it.

What's new in this version:

  • [Changed] Changed default modem init string, which may work better for some.
  • [Improved] Better error handling allows dialing even when init string fails.
  • [Fix] Bug fix closing preferences window
  • [Added] Additional trouble shooting info in the about box
  • [Added] Other tweaks.

Well, I was hoping to use this to record telephone calls using Audio Hijack. Unfortuantely this app freezes if Audio Hijack is in use. Oh, well, one can dream of owning a computer that runs a platform where simple things are possible...

Other than that seems to work.

i got it working with no problem on a iMac G5 with 10.4.2
now, if only there was another software to get the input from the internal mic of my mac... sigh
