Palm Encoding Setup ReviewGreat App & Support - Version: 1.9.6, 5/8/2005 12:49PM PST

rychao_dotmac
Before I came across this nice application, my Palm was just a decoration on my desk because 20% of my contacts and appointments are in Big 5 format and the <String is unprintable> kept me away from using Palm as my primary PDA.

Support is great... author response to my e-mails quickly and resolved all the issues I had.

Best 12 bucks I ever spent!

Palm Encoding Setup ReviewTraditional Chinese works - Version: 1.5.5, 11/17/2004 09:35AM PST

Traditional Chinese Big 5 HKSCS works with syncs between a PalmOS 5.2 Clie and Addressbook, iCal via iSync, as well as with the standard conduits for Palm Desktop 4.2.1. The developer is extremely helpful and responsive in resolving a minor installation issue, which in turn was probably due to a workaround for the buggy Palm Desktop installer. Remaining missing custom fields problem lies with iSync's poor Palm conduit implementation. I would have preferred a true shareware approach, or at least a fully functional trial period, but the price is low enough to warrant a bet which turned out fruitful.
