The Election Game ReviewWhat a waste! - Version: 1.4.1, 10/22/2004 12:00AM PST

The tutorial is funny, but it goes downhill from there. The game is completely unrealistic. For starters, there are minor imperfections such as Democratic States shown in red and Republican States shown in blue. More importantly though, the game's assumptions are a joke. It's utterly impoosible to convince 88%+ of a State's population to vote for your candidate simply by dropping in for the day. There's no consideration of the modern political landscape - Kerry won't win Utah with a two day visit, as the game would suggest. The game's concept of money and candidate time is equally laughable, and the graphics are downright deplorable. For anyone with any interest in politcs, your time would be better spent watching CNN, and the $12 on a newspaper.
