Satstat Troubleshooting ReportJust one thing... - Version: 1.1, 2/7/2006 10:17AM PST

Unless one navigates to the DW6000 utility web page, there is not way of knowing what the signal strength is on a Mac (as there is for Windows users). Thank goodness for SatStat for filling this important gap. I also appreciate the ability to reset the modem from the computer - very handy at times.

What has me a bit concerned is that when I am downloading a fairly large file, SatStat suddenly turns to a red '0', even though the download is going just fine. I assume this is because the increased activity across the connection excludes SatStat's ability to acquire the necessary information, so it assumes the connection is dead.

Otherwise this is the single most useful freeware I have on my computer. Thanks for all the hard work.

Fast response from developer to improve this handy application. The Signal Strength' update works great and also the 'Soft Reset' for the DW6000.
Nice little application! This was overdue for the Mac with a Direcway satellite internet connection.
