Vault CommentaryLove it! Great Icon, too :-) - Version: 1.2, 1/13/2007 03:39PM PST

This is my favorite app for serials and keys! The export features are great, too. Hope it's still under development. Keep up the good work!

For such a tiny user interface this is as confusing as it gets. Maybe the developer generally uses a PC, because as a Mac user for almost 20 years I cannot get the method of encrypting and decrypting to stick in my brain. What an illogical methodology. All I can say is that when you eventually get the thing to work, it asks for a password to encrypt/decrypt the file - which is what you want.

I was looking high and low for a free program to store my passwords after coming over from the PC side of things, and using keepasse. Well I have to say I have tried a few programs and just love Vault what a great program. I think the creater did an excellent job of making the program easy to use and yet secure.
Thanks for such a great program at the right price. The only thing I would like to see in the next version is a password generator included.

What am I missing here? I use encrypted DMG’s for my sensitive data. Why would I want Vault? Not being contrary, just asking.

As for the previous comment, I thought I'd try and use it without reading any manual (if there even is one) and guess what, in 3 mins flat I had my own encrypted vault set up. And I'm as dumb as a brush!
Thanks to the developer for this, this is great, really. I guess we all try out a lot of apps, but this is one I'll be using for sure.

I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to use Vault, but couldn't. None of the attendant documentation (nor the website) explain how to use this useless app.

Good, solid application. Its freeform entry style might not be to everyone's liking, but I personally like the flexibility it provides. Author is also very responsive to feedback.
