AusAB CommentaryNeed to set Australia as the country? - Version: 1.0, 1/26/2006 11:45AM PST

Chris///
Hi - nice app, useful - however I'm wondering if it could be even better if AusAB would 'assume' an unspecified country to be Australia, provided that the state was a valid Australian state?

I only enter country name into Address Book for overseas (outside Australia) addresses (quicker and easier that way?. So right now it says, 'Address does not appear to be in Australia! - Doh!' Not much use like that. :-)

Could this suggestion be considered in the next update?

thanks, ct

I love this app, the map feature is brilliant. Would be nice if it had an option to download a certain area from whereis to use on the go, when I only have my iBook and no Internet.

AusAB ReviewAt last - something truly local! - Version: 1.0pb, 10/11/2004 04:41PM PST

A great idea that's been long overdue in coming! The Address Book has a lot of potential, but is often overlooked because no-one has explored its underlying features. This developer has opened up a whole new level of usefulness and is to be congratulated.

I had some problems with my typed 'From' location not being carried through correctly to the Directions module (I confirmed this by manually entering the same 'From' info onto the website, and it picked up my location no probs.) The Sydney transport times module is really handy.

A great start, and I look forward to seeing more true-blue development. Goodonya mate!
