Product Description:

PlaintextPaste is a very simple SIMBL plugin that accomplishes only one thing: it adds a "Paste Plain Text" item to the Edit menu of all Cocoa applications. Normally the Paste menu item will preserve all colors, styles, fonts and formatting of so-called "rich text." However, sometimes, you don't want all this formatting, especially when copying text from the web. Thus, "Paste Plain Text."

What's new in this version:

  • Uses a new method for adding the menu item which should be more compatible
  • Norwegian localization added, thanks to Leif Halvard Silli (hyperlekken at lenk.no)

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3 or higher (may work on earlier versions
  • but is untested)

PlaintextPaste ReviewNo Longer Works - Version: 0.2, 8/31/2007 11:03AM PST

Paul.Hunt
After I installed 10.4.10, this stopped working. Sparkplug now says there are no plugins installed. I uninstalled plaintextpaste (both automatically and manually) and reinstalled it. That didn't help. I miss it.
