PlaintextPaste ReviewNo Longer Works - Version: 0.2, 8/31/2007 11:03AM PST

Paul.Hunt
After I installed 10.4.10, this stopped working. Sparkplug now says there are no plugins installed. I uninstalled plaintextpaste (both automatically and manually) and reinstalled it. That didn't help. I miss it.

PlaintextPaste CommentaryNice one! - Version: 0.2, 11/8/2005 05:57PM PST

Very nice, it's been on my system less than twenty minutes so I can't say it's had a good workout but I did test it and it all I can say is Apple should buy it from the author and roll it into OS-X.

PlaintextPaste ReviewVery useful ... - Version: 0.2, 8/14/2005 01:21PM PST

I intended, but failed to uninstall this. Just as well, because I've been using it constantly to paste text copied from the web and elsewhere without formatting. Thanks to Charles Moore for the review. The only suggestion is to explain somewhere a little more about the Special Characters option.

PlaintextPaste Troubleshooting ReportApple Mail.app problem - Version: 0.12, 10/25/2004 01:18PM PST

kholburn1
Works fine in 10.3

Apple Mail.app already has a shift-command-v option - "paste as quotation" which I use a lot. Can't use the command key shortcut anymore in Mail.app because plaintextpaste has taken it.

PlaintextPaste ReviewWould have been nice, but it trashed my system... - Version: 0.12, 10/20/2004 04:21PM PST

Symphonix
While I would have liked to have seen this plugin work, it completely trashed my 10.2.8 system, preventing all Cocoa apps from starting (including Safari, Mail, and even the logon panel.) thus requiring an archive and install of the OS.
I sinceely hope that these stability issues are addressed as I think the plain text paste plugin would be very handy.

PlaintextPaste ReviewExcellent - Version: 0.12, 10/14/2004 02:07AM PST

Much easier than editing packages, as described on macosxhints, last week. Much thanks for something Apple should already include.

Alt-Apple-V is usually doing the same.
