ATI Radeon 9200 CommentaryRetail only - Version: 124, 10/9/2004 12:32PM PST

As with ALL of ATI's ROM updates from their site, this is for Retail cards only. It will not affect OEM (built-in) cards at all no matter how many times one may try and run the updater.

Has anyone got information on whether the built-in ATI 9200 in various Apple computers should apply this fix. For example, what about the standard eMac?

ATI Radeon 9200 Troubleshooting ReportRadeon 9800 Pro has the SAME PROBLEM! - Version: 124, 10/9/2004 08:18AM PST

Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition has the same problem with pixelated, artifacts appearing on the screen after screen sleep. Very annoying. Wrote ATI Tech support yesterday and they insist it is a 'configuration issue'. NOT SO.

ATI -- PLEASE consider that your other MORE EXPENSIVE cards might have the same problems -- and same disappointed users.
