Ive had it since September or before....but this is the first time theyve bothered to announce it- I just hgappened on the site to see what was new-and there it was.

After repeated attempts at trying to get this twain to work on photoshop, Ive returned to the previous installer. Its good now and then Epson releases these crappy updates to reinforce the reason I never buy their products any longer. What support?

What does the new version do? What did they fix? Have they finally fixed the problem of it consuming the cpu when it is NOT scanning?
Has anyone found anything better for scanning documents to PDFs? Most of the other packages seemed to be geared for photos.
