Product Description:

Pano2Movie is an easy to use but powerful way of making videos and image sequences from cylindrical or cubic QTVR files. These videos can be incorporated into video and DVD projects.
Existing QTVR2MOV users can upgrade for 17 Euro.

Also available for Windows.
  • Universal Binary
  • All rendering done off-screen
  • A QuickTime Pro license is no longer required.
  • Record paths through the panorama.
  • Edit and save paths.
  • Use the same path on multiple panoramas.
  • Export as a sequence of images.
  • Export to a QuickTime video file.
  • Use any installed QuickTime codec, or use losslessly-compressed PNG format.
  • Pick from a series of preset video sizes or use custom dimensions.

What's new in this version:

  • Bugfix - open and save dialog boxes were occasionally defaulting to odd locations.
  • Bugfix - projects where the right-side handles of pan points had been moved would not re-open.
  • Bugfix - valid registration names and numbers were being entered but not doing anything.
  • Bugfix - the zoom section of the timeline could end up being obscured for panoramas with extreme zoom ranges.
  • Bugfix - fields showing maximum and minimum tilt and zoom could end up underneath the timeline.

The need for QTVR2MOV to be in the front is in the README, but it could have been clearer... This is next on my to-do list, expect to see a beta next month that renders offscreen.

Any detail on the QT corruption & crashes? If it is repeatable a temporary workaround would be to choose 'Open in QT' as the export option and then manually export the movie.

I want this app to work. Experienced corrupt QT movies & QT crashing on export. QTVR2MOV must be in foreground or whatever is over QTVR2MOV window will also get captured also... This has potential though, and if improved I will be purchasing a licence.
