Product Description:

LockOut is a security application that helps keep people from using your Mac while you're not using it. Helps keep your Mac safe from your co-workers while at the office, and from your kids while at home. LockOut can even send your cell phone a text message notifying you of any breakin attempts.

What's new in this version:

  • Moved "Quit LockOut after session has ended" from LockOut window to the preferences.
  • LockOut no longer expires if it's unregistered.
  • Minor bug fixes

LockOut ReviewConflict with Expose - Version: 5.2.3, 10/7/2007 01:05PM PST

I'm an owner of the product. It's from a great developer (TimeSlice developer). Unfortunately, due to an Apple bug, this software will consistently clear your Expose settings (as of OS X 10.4.10). I reported this to the developer who investigated and determined this to be the case.

He's reported the bug to Apple. It is a known issue within the implementation of their API supporting Kiosk applications.

So for now I wouldn't purchase this software.

At least it's CPU is zero. But it hogs a chunk of RAM when doing nothing.

I am getting error 199 after a forced shutdown . I tried to re install .. same problem.

trashed the app and downloaded a new one ... still same problem

any idea.?
