Product Description:

Phones:

  • Display signal and battery meters in the dock or menu bar including roaming, charge status and the current network name.
  • Control applications based on your phone's range such as pausing/unpausing iTunes and DVD Player, starting/stopping the screen saver and setting your iChat away message.

Calls:

  • Customizable call alerts including full-screen, menu bar, speech synthesis, MP3 ring tones, and many more.
  • Retrieve caller ID using the phone (when available) or Apple's Address Book (including photo, when available).
  • Control active calls using hold, call waiting, and on-screen volume control.
  • Filter incoming calls based on Apple's Address Book groups.
  • Log incoming and outgoing calls including call duration and notes.
  • Export calls to Apple's Address Book or iCal.

SMS:

  • Pop-up incoming SMS on-screen.
  • Send/Receive SMS messages easily using SMS Chat.
  • Archive SMS to disk using Mail-style folders.

Unedited SMS would not be auto-deleted
Crash could occur if strange key codes were sent by the phone

have been using BPE since earliest days, and with a macbook Pro n Nokia N 95 & 73 & 6310, this is just cellphone heaven, what a lovely couple!
great interaction, dashboard in menu, notification, plus an email center just like apple's Mail.
Use yr macbook to send sms, use yr macbook to read them ! no fiddling with mini buttons etc.
almost prefer to use SMS over email now ! hehe
great developer, attentive and good follow up of the suggestions we made over the years
