Product Description:
This is an Applescript Studio application that displays a small window showing SETI@home status when using the Boinc application. The window updates at a user definable interval or when a button is clicked. Source is available using the Alternate Download Links below.
The window currently shows:
- Percent completion of current work unit
- Both as a number and progress bar
- Click on the progress bar to open the project home page for the currently displayed project.
- CPU utilization as a percent
- Total CPU time this instance of Boinc has used
- Current memory usage of the Boinc process
- Time of last status window update
- A "now" button to update the status window
What's new in this version:
- Revamped all the preferences - please delete your old preference file
- New preferences window.
- Option to display all projects, not just the SETI@Home projects.
- Option to set the window level: Normal, Floating, or behind all.
- Option to select window transparency percentage (alpha channel) .
- Better support for multiple projects
- Added project stepper next to project bar .
- Added project description to status window.
- If you click on the progress bar you now open the currently selected project's home page.
- Multiple CPU support - Each CPU will show up as a project .
- The status window position is now saved when the window is moved.

I have a dual 450 mhz G4 with seti-boinc running on each processor.
It would be nice if this app had the option of displaying progress of both processors.

It was created for an older version of BOINC and does not work with the newer versions client data (doesn't recognize the file).
Feeling very sad at the loss of old buddy app's like SetiDockling which did just what I needed to do - monitored command line SETI in an immediately communicative way in the dock.
