Product Description:

PrefCheck is a file utility for checking your preference (.plist) files at the User and Root levels to see if they are corrupted. PrefCheck then displays the results of the test in TextEdit.  Also allows user to change behaviors of the Crash Report Window.

What's new in this version:

  • Universal Binary.
  • Added features of CrashReport Killer.app
  • Minor interface improvements.

... is an application which detect preference files which are not associated with any application, i.e files of applications where we have deleted the applications but forgot to delete their preference files.

I don't understand and I don't want to understand the polemic against this appl.
I downloaded the other one,too: it shows tech tool preferences in "red" (i.e.: the same results you can just obtain with tinker tool system).
Anyone like to erase it?
Please, proceed! (not on my mac)
