Wow, I was just thinking about this game the other day and how I wish there were an OS X version. I was thinking about installing classic on one of my machines simply so I could play it. Now I'm thinking I'll be playing this game all weekend long without any sleep.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I haven't been able to make a score above 900,000 since its reissue but I'm working on it. I first played it, when my 17 year old son was just a baby, I thought beating it was just a cruel hoax. But I found the fireworks at the end. This is a great game. Shoot 'em and dodge. Plenty of decisions to make along the way. It is frustrating when you get zapped even though you KNOW you had the sheild on. Maybe you can't be in motion at the critical moment. I don't blame iClock. (Don't have it to my knowledge so I don't disable it.) I'd like to hear from other players with their strategies before we meet to play for a dollar a point.
