Ireally want to use Amapi 7 but it appears to be running very slow on my Macs. It's as if it was a JAVA written ap;llication it's sooo slow. May be just me of course, but I;ve tried it on4 Macs now...

Very innovating modeler. Easy to use (for a 3D modeler), extremely powerful (with very precise modeling options and great control of model complexity -- ideal for game development), and quite reasonably priced.
If paired with Cararra as a renderer, you have a very powerful animation system for well under the cost of Maya or somesuch.
Note the various competitive upgrades on Eovia's site as well. I upgraded from a MacOS 8 version of Infini-D to Amapi.
