iFinance offers a simple opportunity to keep overview of your finances. Only if you know, how much you spend, you can plan your finances and save money this way. By diagrams, which are provided from your financial data, you can see, in which weeks, months, quarters or years you spend or earn more money than usual. Individual categories or accounts can be observed during a period specified by you. On the basis of such evaluations you can determine easily, how many funds you have available in the month. iFinance can provide very detailed evaluations from your specified data. REM--2008
Any Program that is looking to enable people to track needs to provide the basic reports that are needed. This program does not have them.
It Does an Adequate job of item entry and a great job of giving you many types of charts to choose from, but charts are fluff, text is king when working with any type of accounting program.

The could be such a useful app, but in nearly 6 months of use it's not really developing as hoped. Access to keyed menus, which hardly exist, instead of mousing to buttons to get around; multi-selection in the main window to drag around or delete a bunch of stuff instead of one at a time; prefs to default to views instead of always having to click 'options'..
I don't mean to be ungrateful, but as a registered user a new icon and adjusted set of charts doesn't a full upgrade make. I'll keep hoping but can't help starting to look around at alternatives now, and I too am sticking with 1.1.4.

Now no way of knowing an account balance except in relation to the current date which makes this app next to useless. The iinformation used to be available in an Account Evaluation view but is not any longer. There needs to be a balance column at the very least.
The developers are making the classic mistake of going for eye candy rather than concentrating on basic functionality.
I'm back on Version 1.1.4 but even this will probably be confined to the trash unless there's any sign of serious commitment by the developers to improving their product.
Bit of a cheek asking more money for a worse product.
