I'm surprised Firefox, Safari, etc. don't put something like this in as an option. This is a great utility. Just found this by the announcement of the beta here on VT, and so I started with the beta...thus far it has been stable and sound little app!

Paparazzi! ReviewGreat for taking screen photos - Version: 0.4.2, 3/24/2006 03:00AM PST

As a website designer, I have found this little app invaluable. After I build a website I use this program to take a full screen photo that I then add to my portfolio.

I don't want to miss this anymore. I don't know how often I made a "screenshot" from a website for a presentation or info-paper. This tool just do the work and safes sites as PDFs as well. Great work, thanks for the nice freeware! : )

Great tool for getting screenshots of websites.

Does it differently to PDF because you're able to see the whole webpage on one image or page with all the design and layout elements in a borderless view. No problems with pages which are too wide for a PDF or have HTML frames. PDF files also have page breaks and a border and therefor don't display the page as it would be displayed in a browser.

Probably best targeted for web developers or people who want to archive the page or show it to others.

works, but does nothing different that printing to a PDF... one more program running in memory and $10 lost for the same thing as CMD-P -> save as PDF

Paparazzi! Commentaryit can be relatively useful for some users, and it's freeware too... - Version: 0.4.1, 3/4/2006 07:58AM PST

i like the idea behind this software because i don't have to change any settings in Safari to produce the same result. for example, although i can do the same in Safari i'd need to turn on the option to print the images and the background. but i like to keep these options turned off by default. so i think this is where i'd find Paparazzi! relatively helpful.

but not all pages load as displayed in a browser. for example, if you go to http://www.pdnonline.com, Paparazzi! displays a list of menu choices and then the rest of the page.

what does this software do that Tiger's "Save As..." command doesn't?

or is this for people who aren't running Tiger?
