Product Description:

fiwt adds find-as-you-type to Apple's Safari web browser. Also called type-ahead find, this feature is a very useful combination of searching and navigation. To search for something on the current page, just start typing it. The first match is immediately selected. The backslash key will find the next one. If the text found is a hyperlink, hitting return will follow it.

What's new in this version:

  • compatible with Safari on OS X 10.4
  • updated SIMBL interface

I really like this hack. Very very helpful. But it seems, it does not work with Safari 3.0 beta.

Very nice and lightweight plugin. It works wonderfully. With 10.4.4, it seems fiwt breaks paging up and down with the keyboard within a frame.
