Help! Please! Someone help me out! - Version: 2.5.6, 3/17/2005 05:08AM PST

Yesterday I downloaded the 2.3.7 version driver for my hp 7550. I spent six whole hours trying to get it to work and was unsuccessful. I called HP, I called Apple, no one could get the error code -9672 to quit popping up. Today, I downloaded this version, 2.5.6 hoping that it would solve my problem. I get the same error code. I uninstalled 2.3.7 before installing 2.5.6, and during the search for drivers it revealed that it was going to use 2.5.6, but still gave me that error code. I'm installing onto a Power Mac 733 G4 QuickSilver. HP says that the code means conflicting drivers. HP gave me instructions to throw away my print folder and to delete all files that start with com.apple.print and they even had me go into the Terminal and type some stuff. Nothing works! I love my HP 7550 but I can't connect to it! Can someone please help me??

The printer driver is just a part of what's included in this download. As mentioned previously, the easy install places some other applications on your Mac. These applications are accessed through a HP Image Zone application added to the Dock. Included are HP Image Print, HP Image Edit, HP Instant Share and HP Memories Disc. Much or all of these are similar (or redundant) to what you get with iPhoto and a .mac account. However, I really like HP Instant Share which places my photos on an HP server for a month for sharing with friends. As noted previously, don't choose the easy install option if you don't want these applications. As for me, I like having them. HP actually has a done a nice job with these tools and have integrated it surprisingly well with the Mac.
for Macintosh iMac G3, and I still work (I do!) on system 9.2?
Since the day I bought it (July 2005), I cannot use it!
IS THERE ANY DRIVER TO WORK ON IT?
with an extension of compress .bin, .sit, etc.
Thanks for your help!
