In a posting in 2004 I couldn't understand why anyone would want to use a language like Biferno. After 3 years of PHP I now know why.
Biferno is great!

Biferno is what we are really looking for to develop and deploy our project!
I like Biferno bacuase it is really clean OOP and has an application context on par with enterprise Java (similar to ColdFusion) and much better than VBScript.
It is very easy to reuse java code in Biferno without having to recompile modules or get into complicated configuration management.
It also has a very clean code architecture which is a joy to study, and offers lots of third party opportunities.
Beware however that It has a much stricter syntax/semantic checking than PHP, and may not be ideal for beginners.
