i red a lot of these posts about the dev and how dam'n trashed his app now is or should be, but i think that this hole thing got so big, he couldn't have been thinking of that, he just acted. he acted for good and understandable reasons - jeah an crossed a line. now the hole web community pull out their toungths to give him hell. ok, and now stop one moment and think a few seconds before acting nearly as stupid! in my opinion, he learned his lesson and now let him try to be better then this. every one schould give him a chance now to proof that this was a mistake - and i think of it like, a mistake of whitch evey one laughes about in 10-20 years. as i did somthing wrong in my youth, got couth by the police and was brought back home by 'em. i got hell from my parents and neighbours but i got a chance to proof that i had learned my lesson, the dev has his too. i think he is more sensible where the line is, than any other of you, now! give him a chance and get over this mistake - no one is this perfect to throw stones at him!

Echelon ReviewNot worth the risk of erasing your important data. - Version: 1.1, 10/6/2004 09:21AM PST

Sorry but erasing user data is not the way to handle pirated software. I don't care if it has been disabled, there is no action this guy could take that would make me want to even demo any software he could possibly come up with.
