Too bad for Indie software - Version: 1.1, 9/13/2004 05:29PM PST

TravoltusThis is why Open Source Software is the best choice: it's instantly and fixable. Bugs are quickly discovered and squashed. If Echelon were OSS it would have been de-trapped in a heartbeat.

themacgeekAnd now you've ruined it for everybody.
Who can trust indie software now? Your selfishness will send shockwaves through the entire planet and will delay the technological revolution.
I hope that for every file you are responsible for deleting, you have one day of unemployment. You can be sure that your fellow developers will be experiencing the very same woes.

jspectrei'm all for authors protecting their work, but when they do things like this they've crossed the line. i could never recommend ANY software this author helped develop. if someone did this in a corporation they'd be subject to criminal charges.

coolmacguyI strongly disagree. Anyone asinine enough to even try something like this will have NO chance in hell of EVER getting me to even think about using one of his apps. Not only that, but I will make sure to blast this guy everytime I hear someone asking me about software in this genre. Utterly reprehensible.
