owlhoot_dotmacThis fine new Sherlock 3 Channel (.xml not .src like Sherlock 2) is in every way I've tested so far very good at what it is offered to do. It even loads from Download Manager via a dialogue box to your My Channels directory in Sherlock 3 in the best way I've seen so far. In that respect, as far as I know, this is the prime example of the new rash of speciality channels for Sherlock 3.
But when Album Reviews arrives in your My Channels directory, the developer switches names on you. The channel suddenly appears in your speciality directory with the same name (for the new channel among the several you have there already), the same name as the directory itself: it's now confusingly named My Channels, not Album Reviews. Dreadful.
Ordinarily, I'd give only one point to any offer of an app, free or not, that erred so badly on one major point; but dang!, the channel (again, which should be named Album Reviews not My Channel when it appears properly in your directory) looks so good and info so true to its purpose, I'm gonna' give Album Reviews two points for now.
- But please, Mr Developer, retitle this app pronto!
