Product Description:

DrumThing is a Quicktime MIDI music application designed be a software version of a drum machine for creating drum patterns, loops and grooves.

With this app, the user can create loops and grooves with as many as 10 drums each having a choice of 48 instruments.

Instrument choice as well as individual volume for each of the instruments is selected by a slider as is tempo. All QT drum kits are included and are selected with a popup menu. Of interest is the ability of assigning the app to created grooves randomly. The user can save the groove data, drum sets, and eventually MIDI files.

What's new in this version:

Export data as a MIDI file is now implemented.
Fixed a few minor bugs and cleaned up the code.
Changed the Sand font for G5 users that don't have the font installed.
Registration panel partly setup.
