TypeTrainer4Mac CommentaryInstallation problem - Version: 2.8.5, 9/17/2007 12:41PM PST

2vivaldi
Hi,
I have used 2T4Mac in earlier days and found it useful.
Now I tried to install the new version (2.8.5) on Tiger 10.4.10
but I can't get past the licence agreement dialog.
I click "agree" but nothing happens.
What's next?

TypeTrainer4Mac CommentaryOpens up but acts like it is thinking - Version: 2.8, 1/19/2007 11:18AM PST

I had the old version and it worked great. I received an alert that there was an update and I downloaded it. Since than the windo opens showing the screen and the keyboard. the screen is blank and there is the little waiting cirle turning as if it is thinking. i left it alone for 30 minutes and was still thinking. I used appdelete to remove all of the folders and items connected to typetrainer. I than dowloaded it again and same issue. I repeated these steps again and it still does the same. An suggestions? Thanks in advance

Can't access the developers website because it gives a bandwidth warning message:

I've downloaded, installed and tried this little app twice now. Neither time could I figure out how it works. Neither time could I find instructions on how to get it to work. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Amazing. Super small footprint: look how small this app is: very efficient, quality programing! I've been holding out for a freeware OS X typing tutor for longer than I care to admit. Now that TT4M is this good, ironically, it very well deserves a donation.
You can drag your own .rtf file into it and practice your typing on any document you need to study - Highly useful!

Another small suggestion might be to have a toggle to show the letters you need to type instead of the fingering numbers. But the fingering numbers are very cool and donation-ware status is very well deserved. The support for almost any international keyboard layout makes this a truly universal app.

Bare bones, rock solid; made my day. I'll be a much better typist in just a few days. Thank-you!

TypeTrainer4Mac ReviewGreat little app, bugs apparently now cleared - Version: 2.6.6, 3/27/2006 10:28AM PST

This is a fine little app that does just what it promises - no fancy touch-typing course or classes, but a clean, nifty interface providing random keys or your own text to practice with. You can set the keys yourself that you wish to practice with and the app automatically gives you a report each session. It was buggy until now, with a pronounced tendency to freeze randomly, but Valentin’s response to reports is second-to-none and in a few days he has ironed this out, producing the latest version, 2.6.6. Highly recommended.

TypeTrainer4Mac CommentaryLight-weight and usable, but want font selection - Version: 2.5.1, 10/16/2005 01:20AM PST

If I could select display fonts, it would be much better for me. At least I want to use fixed width font.

Your software is just wonderful.
Suggestion: you could try to put instruction in Italian, too. You know, italian people are not so good in English ;)
How can I contribute, if I do not have paypal?
Bye
