This version (5.0.9) does not work (10.3.3) It has no icon, BBEdit (7.1.2) does not recognize it. Or am I doing something wrong? Please help, if you can. Thanks

prove you correct, in that only 20% of us have gone to OS X so far. However it is in Apple's best interest to get everyone switched over so they can concentrate on future hardware technology. I would guess that if was developing a new plug-in or app I too would choose OS X because it is the only path forward in the Apple business plan. As an early adopter I've had a heck of a time getting the pieces together with software, but since 10.2 things have been getting much better. We now have only one of six Macs still running a classic OS, not including a IIcx with 6.7 and a LC3 with 7.6 -- both in the attic. This tool is sweet.

Macs on my desktop: a 450Mhz G4 with 256 ram, running Jaguar without any trouble, as well as a 233 Mhz Powerbook that has difficulty running anything above 8.6, and a 7600/132 that only does up to 8.1 well. Until I have money to throw at processor and ram upgrades, I can't use anything close to X on 2/3 of my computers. I'm glad I'm using Jaguar on my web-development computer, or else I wouldn't be able to use this (or many other plugins for BBEdit.) AtuGuy, not everyone can afford, or even use the latest OS from Apple. Perhaps the developers of this plugin could continue working in X, while offering the classic versions as freeware.
