Add the headlines from your favourite sites to your menu bar. News Ticker reads RSS feeds and offers a comprehensive set of options to taylor the display to your needs.

reads RSS and RDF feeds
adjust query and display interval
choose font and color for headlines
prepend headlines with site/channel icon
click headlines top open the article in your browser
remembers clicked and old headlines between restarts
add channels with drag & drop
control-click opens context menu

the contextual menu allows you to

mark article as read
mark all articles for channel as read
open channel's main page
view all headlines for channel
open any article for channel

This is a plug-in for Tigger.
