Remove MacOS Junk ReviewSimple free elegant solution to a big problem I had - Version: 1.0, 4/15/2005 12:30AM PST

I have a new Sony TV with a Memory Stick reader. I got the TV for other reasons, but I figured I might create some screensavers from pictures I have and some low capacity Memory Sticks that have been discarded by others.

It works *really* well for this. Lots of pics, free cards, easy transfer, and they look great.

The problem is that the Memory Stick will see one fake file for each actual jpeg on the card. This results in needing to go through a rather tedious task of deleting all the non-jpeg files through the TV interface so only the images show up in the slideshow.

With this application, all I need to do is drag the icon of the Memory Stick to the application window before removing the card, and all is set and good to go!

I'd love to hear if there's another way to delete those files, but if not, this seems like the best solution.

I have just connected my iRiver H340 to my Mac and attempted to remove the Resource Forks from it, however, nothing seems to happen. The app. is so basic that there is no status symbol, how do I know when it has completed it's task?

Desperate to remove the RF's from this volume but a complete Terminal novice...

Remove MacOS Junk ReviewThis is for Windows and UNIX shared disks... - Version: 1.0, 8/25/2004 05:31AM PST

...this program REALLY helps to minimize the impacts of Macs on a network. I don't recommend using it at all on your Mac; use it on your PC that you share...
