This is one feature that makes it outstanding among other similar utilities and it is doing it properly - can display and can search properly.

pathetically slow, volumes are sorted in the order they are indexed (i would prefer to sort them by myself). worst of all: after indexing volumes for quite some hours i find (after closing and opening the app) that all volume names containing any characters other than the u.s.a. crap-alphabet are crippled into illigibility! this app is just like every single app in the radical breeze portfolio: nice idea at first sight, but a pain to use. don't buy. any of them.

took a look because of the Radical Breeze post below. I didn't try 1.0, but 1.5.4 is painfully slow at cataloging discs. Seems like it indexs the same info as a Disktracker, CDFinder, etc.
but where Disktracker took 10 seconds to catalog a DVD with 2GB of data, Illumination took over 5 minutes ! Also, don't really care for the way it shows the Path information (very windows like) I much prefer DiskCatlog Maker or DiskTracker or CDFinder (all three do a good job) Tri-Catalog is faster and it's building previews. Really don't see any advantage to this app.
