The developer keeps improving the software and support is 2nd to none. I have used many different presentation software packages and this is way above them all.

I have worked with Propresenter for many years and it just keeps getting better and better. The developer is always looking for new ways to improve and update this product. Well worth the price for any Church or organization.

When you consider cost, there's more than mere dollars to calculate. In 2001 when I arrived at my present church we used PowerPoint. When Keynote was released we starting using that instead. Better than PowerPoint, but still COMPLETELY inflexible while a worship set is running.
We started using ProPresenter last year, and haven't looked back. While one song is moving forward my tech guy can be editing or adding lyrics. We still use Keynote for missions presentations and for my sermons; he can get those prepped and ready while the worship set is taking place. The countdown alone has to be worth something. And it plays very nicely with DVD Player and Keynote.
In my mind, the key to a church is the massive amount of volunteer labor that goes into things. This is far more the case in a small church. Keeping your volunteers motivated and productive keeps them excited and committed to serving. ProPresenter is a fantastic tool for the tech guys (and gals).

This is a great app.
It plays all movies very smoothly!
Now also with a countdown that works flawlessly.
Beautiful interface.
New also DVD support - unencrypted ones work great, encrypted ones play but I can not create clips with them. Don't know if that is a bug?!

I am the owner of Krazy Productions and have do many productions that consits of multimedia events. The key to my productions and the flow of an event is ProPresenter.
It took a week or two to get used to the new idea of presenting but now i am more than ever a huge fan of ProPresenter. With this new update there are many new possibilities and the stability has been greatly improved! I encourage everybody to atleast try it, Trust me you'll be hooked!

I have been involved in video production with 7:22, the Passion Experience Tour, Steve Fee, and North Point Community church for over a year now. My producing experience has spanned the last 6 years.
ProPresenter is absolutely the BEST software I have seen for presenting lyrics during worship. I travel as the video guy with Steve Fee (7:22/Passion Recordings), and he does not normally use a set list, as he prefers to follow the Lord's leading in and out of songs. With any other program besides PRO, I would be sunk. However, PRO allows me to run lyrics on 1 machine, video loops on the other (both fed into a video mixer) at the same time without any trouble.
I also love the fact that you can email the development team with what you would like to see in future releases--and they respond! I personally have made about 5 suggestions as to what I would like to see in the program, and they have all appeared in future releases. And the updates were free!
The truth is, if you want to be serious about video--Macs are the way to go. And if you want to be serious about lyric presentation, ProPresenter is the way to go.

Unlike the previous poster, I did NOT research other programs that do similar things to ProPresenter. Why? Because I have enough people that I come across each day who USE those programs, and when I show them ProPresenter their jaws hit the floor in disbelief.
This program will change the way you prepare for Sunday mornings from a video standpoint. No more hours wasted on typing in that new song and getting every slide formatted just right... or trying to figure out what to do when your worship leader says "I just feel led to sing ____________ right now... won't you join me?" Every song is just a click away, and yet ONLY if you need them to be! This program is wonderfully organized, easily run, and maybe most importantly... easily TAUGHT. If you need to build a team to run words and video elements in a hurry, ProPresenter will be your best friend... it's INCREDIBLY simple to learn!
And make no mistake about it... worship leaders will be HUGE fans of this program, too. There are few things worse than that feeling of looking out in to the crowd and realizing that NO ONE is singing, because NO ONE knows the words to the song YOU are trying to lead... and when it's a song you felt LED to add in... that can be discouraging! With ProPresenter, you'll know those words are going to be up there, prompting those who need the words to sing along!
