This version isn't too shabby. I'm not a big fan of the graphics, but the feeling of the gameplay is right on. Actually you can still download the Puyo Puyo like game that Stiles made. Its carbonized just fine. Also SEGA released Puyo Puyo Fever for mac. You can buy it at lik-sang.

I miss PuyoPuyo since I switched to Mac OS X. This replacement is really really nice.
It's taking a bit too much CPU though, but except that, it's perfect for me !

I miss Stiles' PuyoPuyo from MacOS 9, and this is a more-than-worthy replacement. The controls and the animation are both very well done. It has a very arcade feel to it. NICE WORK!

Though I still think one of the best versions of Puyo Puyo is the SegaSaturn one (because of the theme and sound effects in 2 players mode, this clone is really very nice, very smooth. However, the sound themes are not of the kinds one would like to listen to the whole day. It also lacks some game modes, like challenge, puzzle, and options like choosing the number of colors for Puyos ... And if we were able to play on a network using Rendezvous, that would rock !
Anyway, the basics of Puyo Puyo are enough to make this rendition a very solid one.
