I looked through the docs on update and wonder why I would want to test this when the only "pro app" I use is Logic towards which, it seems, none of the update applies though it is listed in affected applications; i wonder if there is more to the update than is stated or am i ignorant of some of Logic's dependencies?

Logic Pro 8 in Leopard seemed to open quicker for me after this update, - however, now back-ups via Time Machine are inoperable. It just gets stuck in "preparing" mode. Apple seems to be about as reliable as Windows these days; constantly buggy app.s & updates... anything to do with Intel chips??? Didn't used to be this bad with PPC. But it's getting BORING! Pick up your game Apple... think you're losing the plot a bit. You make computers and software. Not just iPods.

I upgraded to Leopard and have not been able to use my remote with Logic Studio like I had previously used in Tiger. The remote also does not work in Garage band. I spoke with apple support at both the apple store in Westchester, NY and on the phone and both were not able to give a answer if it was a bug or if it could be fixed. Most of the time Apple genius's google to find the answer to a problem. I could do this at home and it is defiantly preventing me from purchasing Apple extended warranty. I am just about ready to downgrade to Tiger since my MBP is new and has barely anything on it. I do hope Apple gets back in the game with customer service. They really use to be great and knowledgeable.
