I'm a newbie to the world of photo manipulation and don't know how to do the whole photoshop layers thing..
..But this seems to be really good - not too hard to work with, cheap, powerful.
The licensing thing should not be a problem, unless your machine is replaced or you need multiple machines..
..But for the price, multiple licenses shouldn't be too onerous [1 photoshop elements licence is nearly double 1 photoretouch digicam license]
My biggest problem is that this software does not deal with PNGs..
..But at least it does deal with TIFFs.
I think it's great software, but more experienced users may find it awkward, as I think it's a different way of working - direct on the image, not via layers.
The demo is free and fully functional [limited to saving 30 images, tho], so give it a go !!

Tried contacting support but their email is not valid. They are in Monaco or something.
