lets see. i always like seeing system info..

where to start, as soon as i launched it i got an error, on second launch i did not get error again. and i didnt pay attention to the message.

while trying to update the window info i got applescript errors, which also do not happen on a second launch.

my system is a Digital Audio G4 Dual 533 PPC currently running Tiger 10.4.6

also clicking on check for updates tells me theres a newer update, when i download it, i get the same version again.

I truly hope development "exclusively for Mac OS X 10.4" doesn't become a trend. Some of us are so disgusted with Tiger that we've never upgraded-or have reverted to Panther as I did.

iTattle ReviewGood idea, but.... - Version: 2.1, 12/9/2005 10:54PM PST

The idea behind iTattle is sound - it's especially attractive to us SA-types who need to get an overview of a system that includes details that the System Profiler doesn't.

However....

On my G5, it reports the incorrect amount of RAM installed. It says 2048M, I have 2560M. For Sound Volume, it reports "missing value% of full". Pulling up user info gives columes with poor formatting, and an inability to scroll all the way to the right - I have to resize the window.

For networking, it reports "TITLE" for the external IP address, and "n/a" for DNS servers (which I do have set). The list goes on.

This is under a fairly vanilla 10.4.3 install.

It's a good concept, but flawed at this point. I plan on checking in again in a few revisions to try it again.
