Product Description:
GrooveLoops is a compact and simple application designed be a software version of a drum machine for creating drum patterns, loops and grooves. Of interest is the randomize option that can provide much 'fun' with the infinite number of randomly created grooves.
What's new in this version:
- Added 2 more drum menus â there are now 8 drums.
- Added more drum choices per menu; those that for some reason need multiple bass drums now have that option.
- Fixed the quicktime choke problem, the app runs fast and tight now with no quicktime problems.
- Fixed the update of the slider position when a file is loaded with a different tempo.
- Added "Nag" alerts and a link to Kagi...sorry.
- Changed the key assignment for playing of drum sounds with the keyboard: With this, the user can 'play' the app like a drum.

1. Number of drums is much too limited - needs to be arbitrary and user-changeable<br>
2. Why the heck is the sound each drum can play limited to a set of sounds? Why am I not allowed to have 2 bass drums?

I also had problems with the stop button taking very long to respond. Actually, everything in the UI is unresponsive while it's playing, including menus and Command-Q. Since the CPU meter is at less than 10 percent and other applications are responsive, this looks like a programming bug, not the machine being too slow. Too bad the source isn't available.
