With this new version (1.3) I was able to (starting with an eMac Restore disk that installs 10.3.4) make a one-click install DVD that installs 10.3.5 + every other upgrade there is. Running Software Update after brings up an empty window!

Thanks for writing this app and saving me SOOOO MUCH TIME!!!!

Problem is ... Slipy only works with what I assume are the retail CD's for Panther. I have hundreds of install DVDs (where I work we buy a lot of Macs) but since I can't find a set of CD's from retail I'm stuck.

As would be anyone who purchased a machine that shipped with Panther...

Author was quick to reply via email that he is working on the DVD issue. With any luck I'll be able to try this soon.

Even with the latest version you can't quit once it can't find the disk...

Slipy Troubleshooting ReportError message on startup - Version: 1.1, 8/5/2004 11:28PM PST

Tells me "Sorry, Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) required" and then quits. I am running OS X 10.3.4 and it doesn't recognize that I am. Would love to try it though!
