Media Catalog indexes your removable media, such as Backup CDs and DVDs so that you can quickly and easily find your files. Don't remember where you put your 2004 financial statements? Media Catalog will tell you it's on your January 2004 Backup CD. Just double click on it to have Media Catalog ask for the CD, and open the file for you!
