Product Description:
Namely is possibly the fastest way to open applications. And unlike some other launchers, it doesn't require any learning.
You simply activate it using your preferred keyboard shortcut, start typing part of an application's name and see a list of matches as you type. Most of the time, one or two letters are enough. In fact, Namely learns your habits and makes your most-used apps even quicker to access over time. It's basically Spotlight for applications, only much faster, and highly addictive.
What's new in this version:
- Built to run natively on Intel Macs.
- After detaching an external display, Namely will ensure its window is in the visible screen area.
- Pressing Escape when the text field is empty will now hide Namely.
- Namely now hides itself when you switch to another application, so it won't get in the way when you switch applications subsequently.
- An open-hand cursor is shown when you move the mouse over the window, to make it more obviously movable.
- Apps on removable media, including disk images, are now excluded.
- Apps that have been moved to the trash from any volume (not just the startup disk) are now excluded.
- Command-clicking an item now displays it in the Finder.
- The tooltip showing the path of the item under the mouse now appears much faster.
- Namely now periodically checks whether the Applications folder has changed while it's inactive, making it less likely that it starts reloading when you activate it.
- The selected list item is now shown using the active highlight colour.
- Added Traditional Chinese localisation (thanks to Jack Ming-Hung Lin).
