I think this is a pretty good piece of software. It would be even better if you could make it function like a karyoke machine with the proper pitch of each note outlined on the graph. When you sing along, you would try to get the green line as close as possible to the outline. I saw an ad for some Windows software that does this, which is what made me download this in the first place.

The next thing that you could try would be to have the software automatically increase or decrease the frequency of the voice it is analyzing to force it to be on key. Then anybody could sing!

...but I can't get it to work with my iMic USB soundsystem, which otherwise works pretty well.

How about microtuning and non-Western scales?

I will pay for this when I can resize the graph (pulling it lengthwise to get more info on the screen), and I can save an entire readout (as opposed to just being able to copy only what's on the screen at any given time...to the clipboard).
For my purposes, I'd like to be able to play into it for awhile with the graph scrolling, then be able to see the entire session, and maybe save it in PDF form or something like that...not just look at a partial snapshot saved to the clipboard. It would be nice if it would save pdf's or whatever to a specified folder.
Nice idea. If it suits your purposes, it works very well. My suggestions may not represent the intent of the developer, or other users, but it would make this much more useful to me.
Thanks-

I think this is a great idea! I can say without hesitation that I need some help with my intonation. I liked the interface and thought everything worked well. I don't see any way to change octaves, which would seem important for the test pitches. I also think it would be cool to have common test patterns that you could play and sing back to.

I haven't had a chance to try this with my sax, but that's next. Thank you for a creative product.
