Product Description:

Backdrop is a simple utility to fill your screen with a white window. This is useful for taking screenshots without having to clean up your desktop.

What's new in this version:

  • Added a real full-screen pixel test mode (white, red, green, blue, black)
  • Fixed the "image stretch" mode
  • Improved the auto-update check behavior to avoid an endless loop

Downloaded 4 similar products today, this DMG file could not be opened. Using 10.5.7 on new updated imac, instantshot nad backdrop had no problems.

Web design: If you have a large monitor, create a full size image with outlines of more common screen sizes to accurately check how your pages will look on different monitors.

Comedy: Take a full screenshot of your desktop. Make alarming changes with an image editing app. & use this picture for Backdrop....... even better if you can sneak this onto someone else's computer

Press Command-Shift-4, then press space, then you can take a screenshot of a window instead of the screen.
