What's new in this version:

To better address the needs of StarCraft players on Mac OS X, Blizzard is releasing a fully OS X-native installer application today. The new installer allows OS X users who do not have OS9/Classic support installed on their systems to easily install StarCraft and the Brood War expansion set from the original CDs.

I am amazed that Blizzard continues to support the Starcraft Franchise with these amazing updates. I wanted to install my games on my new iBook but thought I'd be out of luck. Then today with this new release I am able to continue to enjoy both Starcraft and Broodwars expansion pack on my new laptop!

I will continue to purchase Blizzard games without hesitation because of the excellent piece of mind they provide through support!!

I agree that it is great; and I applaud Blizzard for their LONG support of their products, even for the Mac; however I find it amusing that we seem to all have forgotten that Starcraft was the (initial) worst Mac-software that Blizzard released. It was delayed over a YEAR (it was either 11 or 13 months) from the 'simultaneous release' of the PC version; who's expansion pack was released before the Mac version of the original!
