Product Description:

TriTag helps you to get a clear MP3 collection by either creating a new filename out of the ID3Tag or filling the metatags using the information found in the filename using a user defined pattern - easy due to a pattern builder.

The first mode also allows to create a unique directory structure (artist/album/) similar to the one generated by iTunes "Consolidate library".

Search the FreeDB database if neither the filename nor the tag contains correct information.

What's new in this version:

  • ADDED: Multiple row editing now works like iTunes
  • ADDED: Auto track numbers
  • ADDED: Filename sorted
  • FIXED: Always UTF16BE encoding - Latin1 causes some trouble

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.2 or higher

TriTag ReviewWorks perfectly - Version: 0.8, 8/8/2007 09:28PM PST

Finally, a utility that lets you specify file name part delimiter characters, white space (spaces to underscores) and whatever order you want the ID3->filename to be in! I can finally toss all my Windows mp3/tagging tools and perl scripts. Thanks!

TriTag ReviewOne Feature I Needed - Version: 0.8, 9/25/2006 06:12PM PST

I had 323 Bible study files that would not play in order on my iPod and I could never understand why. Then I found that the track numbers on the tags were almost random number or no numbers at all! Using TriTag auto set all of my tracks. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to figure out here and there. When I preview, I see no preview--I think. When I click to apply (if all I did was the tracks) my changes will not apply. I had to do a little futzing, but finally got it to work. I am happy with the apps feature that I needed, but I would not let this loose on my original music files. I would suggest working on a copy.

TriTag Troubleshooting ReportSays It's Fixed But... - Version: 0.8, 9/15/2006 03:49PM PST

It just goes BEEP! The titles disappear from the list, and when I add them to iTunes, there's no change!

WHY DOESN'T IT FIX THEM?!
