Couldn’t find the demo, so bought it as they advertise a money back guarantee. Tried twice to get my money back, but they won’t respond. I’ll file a protest with my bank when the next statement comes in. Glad I used my credit card and not PayPal.

iTube! CommentaryDemo or Shareware? - Version: 1.3, 3/7/2005 04:48PM PST

By and large, I find this application to be unusable on a trial basis. And I'm unwilling to buy it for eval purposes. Channel after channel I call up requires a purchase. There is almost nothing -- short of a few porn clips -- which I can use as a test. I can appreciate the need by the developer to ensure payment; but until I can satisfy myself that this app works well, I won't give the developer any money for it. Can we not have a fullly functional demo for at least a couple weeks for evaluation?

iTube! Reviewprogramme fine, shame about material! - Version: 1.2, 12/27/2004 05:33AM PST

There seems nothing wrong with it as software per se. It installed fine, and worked first time and hasnt moved out of 8 to 17% CPU when streaming. So really that is good. The problem (which Apple would have to overcome too) is the content on the internet. They have gone for Real and WMP feeds, which are crap. Lots of potential with QT, but internet tv is still an infant, so I wont hold my breath for full screen streams from all over the world. But when it does iTube will be really good!
