If, like me, you were looking for a LAME version for Audacity, none of all LAME are working for it. But go back and search for Audacity. Click on it once.
On the information panel, they give a link for LAME.
I've tried it and it works very fine to convert to MP3.

Same thing here. I ran the installer and Audacity still can't find the LameLib.
I also can't find if this was installed with the installer. Any help appreciated

Well if you were a command-line junkie (obviously not) then you could bring up a terminal window and just enter 'lame' to list all the options and help and rip albums. lame is located in the unix folder: /Library Easiest I find though is to also download this: iTunes-LAME encoder Then straight from your familiar iTunes interface you can select Encode with LAME from the Scripts menu. Happy encoding!

This may be a stupid question, but I can't figure out what's been installed and/or how to use it. I searched my HD for "lame", and came up blank. Is it integrated into Quicktime or iTunes? Thanks for any help!
